For about 4 years i have been blacking out within seconds and getting weak, i lose hearing and site, i dont feel anything, my blood pressure drops, i sweat a great amount, and i begin to breath hard. As soon as i feel this coming i grab on to something or sit down if possible. I don’t drink, or do drugs. I’m actually meticulous about my health. i exercise and eat right. I have never blacked out while exercising. I also drink water. I have been to several drs and they all cant figure out what it could b. They have thought it might b seizures but all the test came out negative. They also thought it might b my heart. But once again. The test came out negative. I also have chest pains and difficult in breathing. I checked my sugar level and its fine, also iron level. perfectly fine. The symptoms have gotten worse and I am afraid that i will faint one day and hurt myself. I don’t drive and I go to school so I’m fine with that. But i am worried that it will evolve to something worse.

So I’m a beginning runner trying to train for a 5K. I’ve done a lot of research on creating a training plan etc. and I’m not looking for advice on that front. What I do need help with is keeping track of my time.
I hate wearing a watch because I have very sensitive skin on my wrist and in the past I have had horrible outbreaks of eczema and watches have given me extreme heat rashes.
I’m wondering if there is another way to keep track of time, maybe a running play-list that changes song every minute or beeps every minute. Maybe a pedometer that also has a stop watch – ideally one that attaches at the waist.
Suggestions?

Hi everyone! I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and i have recently felt what i can only describe as tightness in my legs. I thought at first maybe I need to be exercising more, but I wear a pedometer to work, and I walk on average of 7 miles a day. At this point, i can only assume that it is the extra weight, and i am just going to have to live with it. The only problem is the last few nights i have been woken out of a sound sleep with a HUGE charlie horse in my calfs. Yesterday, i woke up after having a dream that i needed to stretch. I think what is happening is that i am trying so hard to stretch and make my legs feel better, that i am actually stretching to hard, and hurting my legs! If you have any suggestions, please, I need HELP!

I take ballet lessons and contemporary dance. I’m also a cheerleader, volleyball player during winter and participate in a lot of other activities.
It seems that i should have no problem losing weight. I appear thin to anyone else but in the dance world that’s not the case. I’m 5′7 almost 5′8 and i need to loose about 15 lbs.
Any ideas on how i can loose weight (with exercises certain diets?).

My 20 year old daughter and I are losing weight (slowly!) and really want to do some exercise. We joined the gym, but only went a few times. We have all the exercise dvds on the market and dont do them!
I have suggested we go out for a walk each day after work – I think we could cope with that!
I am off to buy us a pedometer each this afternoon – how many steps should we do each day to lose a couple of pound a week?
