oregon scientifi pedometer, don’y get a cheap one. The oregon is a good pedometer which has lasted longer than any others I’ve attempted to date. It’s handy, and if you don’t mind utilizing a pedometer that fastens to the waist, it’s a good investment. mine had a 90 day warranty

I’m doing a bit of running, and I’d like to have an idea of the distance that I’ve covered. Any thoughts on an accurate pedometer that is good for running and walking?

I’ve been looking around for a good pedometer, I am curious if any of you have experience with pedometers with heart rate monitors, are they accurate? Whats the benefits of having a heart rate monitor with your pedometer? Are they even worth it? Or should I just stick with a plain pedometer? Im not looking to buy anything too fancy or expensive, but I would like it to be accurate. Any recommedations and input would be appreciated. Thanks.
I want one that can count how many steps I take as well as calculating a workout on a cross-trainer (if this is even possible). Also details on the number of calories I have burnt as well.
