I am new to this type of running and need to be able to monitor my heart rate. Distance is important also and am not sure if GPS or Pedometer is best.

I am a 21 year old female who likes to exercise daily. I usually do an hour and fifteen minutes of intense cardio workout, burning around 900 calories in that time. I have become worried recently that I am working my heart too hard, keeping my heart rate around 168 throughout the majority of my workout. Am I endangering my health? I don’t really want to alter my routine.

Does anyone know where I can find something like that that has everything mentioned? If so, what is the name and where can I find it? I’ve seen some with just the heart rate monitor, but I would like all if possible.

i just bought a pedometer and i’m pretty advanced at working out but, i was wondering if i just walked 20000 steps throughout the day sporadically, would i loose weight or do i have to go at a certain pace and heart rate. i’ve never done the heart rate thing with any weight loss program and have always lost weight

The kind you can buy that sometimes comes with a pedometer used for walking and jogging.
