My dad is 60 years old and has a family history of high blood pressure and heart problems. He has been overweight for many years, and this year had what could be considered a very “minor” heart attack. My mom, brother and I have tried many different methods of getting him to diet and exercise – threats, cajoling, rewards, etc. What can we do to make him realize that he needs to change and we are scared of anything happening to him?
I’m doing a project on diet and exercise and I can’t find it anywhere.
i am 20 years old and was diagnost with osteoarthritis when i was 14 and was born with my knee caps in the wrong place, they were moved back into place about 6 years ago, but now i have trouble just walking down stairs or standing for any length of time
I just asked about the Gazelle, but I am not getting any responses.
My aunt is 76. She has severe Tinnitus, a bad knee and back problems, with some dizzy spells.
In good weather she loves to walk outside, and just got some nordic poles.
Unfortunately, the weather has turned and it will be snowing and too cold for the new few months, so she can’t get outside.
Do you have ANY ideas? She can’t handle the noise of even a treadmill, so I’m concerned about the Gazelle, as I keep reading it gets noisy.
I am baffled as to what to get her, as she wants and needs to exercise.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!! 10 points for best answer!!
Those guys who sit in front of the TV and eat all the time with no exercise and keep getting bigger and bigger. When can you tell they are really in trouble with their health? and what kind of health problems are they like to have? and at what age?
