My father used to be quite thin but now is obese. He is discusted with the way he looks. He doesn’t eat out a lot, probably about three times a month. He also doesn’t over eat and he eats fairly healthy. He has done all kinds of exercising, calorie counting and limiting, but none of that seems to work and I really want to help him because I hate seeing him so upset with himself. Does anyone know if maybe theres a health reason behind is weight gain? and would anyone know of any solutions to this or maybe an exercise plan you know of that works?

It’s not that I don’t get enough sleep-I get a good 8-9 hours every night. And I wear a pedometer and am sure to hit 10000 steps per day, so it’s not that. I don’t know what it is. Anyway, I’m looking for some advice/suggestions on things to eat that won’t be horrible to eat all day long, or other ways to stay alert that don’t involve drugs. Sometimes I’ll get up and walk around too, but often it’s to the kitchen. :-) Any ideas???

Rather than use money, the government should adopt programs and policies that help reduce the demand for health care. They should promote a healthy lifestyle of exercise and nutrition vice trying to fix medical problems caused by smoking, laziness, and excess.

High blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes all ran in my family and is caused by lack of exercise.
I decided to change all of that by turning my lifestyle around.
