I’m trying the excersise, excersice, excersize routine.(I know, I suck at spelling) I have a pedometer, so how many steps equal a pound? Like, I walk this many steps, and one pound of fat is gone!????

I would assume that if you use more energy you would need more food. However, I find that after exercise I’m usually not hungry for a number of hours. While my exercise has been going very well I am wondering if my lack of hunger will hinder my growth of muscle mass(which has been rapid and successful, so far). I’m only 17 years old so I imagine I don’t have any serious health concerns that would cause it.
Why am I less hungry?

Here is one question, you have a pedometer, how many steps would you wish to walk everyday, to maintain a healthy weight loss?
You are eating sensibly, drinking plenty of water. You are only concerned with the amount of exercise. Hence this question.
how many steps should i be walking per day?
thanks.

My husband and I walk together I walk more steps and more miles but his pedometer says he burns more calories than me. We bought the same pedometers so we could keep track. Does my being 50 have a bearing on how many calories I burn? HELP

I have a German Import German Shepherd who has always been on the lean size. He is 2 years old & has fell down to 70 pounds. I took him to the vet who ran blood tests, checked his liver, kidneys; checked for parasites including heartworms, thyroid etc. Everything came back normal & she said all that they could find is that he has an extremely high metablosim rate. She also outfitted him with some kind of special pedometer to see how far he runs a day. The pedometer clocked him at around 10 miles a day (we live on several acres of land) . He is an EXTREMELY driven dog~~at 7 months old he was tracking 600 yards in 30 minutes & his prey drive is astounding!
We put him in a 40×80 foot dog lot at the vets suggestion to try & keep him from running so much but he just ran the dog lot all day. He comes inside when he wishes & gets plenty of attention.
More in the comment section because I have run out of room!
