Ok, I know all about calories in calories out and that that is the only true way to lose weight. This is the issue: I started at 290 pounds (BMI 47) and managed to lose 25 pounds and am stuck. I really need to lose another 20 pounds as fast as possible for health reasons. Exercise is still really difficult for me, but am trying to move more throughout the day. If I got really committed, how few calories could I safely consume and not go into “starvation mode” or hurt myself in any way, given it was for a short amount of time (2 months or less).
Thanks

I am a security guard (The job sucks), I walk around all night. I have a pedometer and it says I walk about 6 or 8 miles a night, depending on where I work.
However, I am not losing any weight at all! I am gaining!
with all the walking I am doing, I should have lost 1,000 LB by now. WTF?
How can I fix that?
I used to be in the Army for Seven years and I did not lose any weight there either!
I need to fix this now!
I know I drink a lot of pop and beer. I even eat too much quite often. But I should be working off the extra weight. But I am not getting rid of it!
Not even when I was going to the gym with a personal trainer once a week.
How can I fix this?

One of my new years resolutions is to eat less, cut down my calories, and lose weight. My meal today was cabbage(boiled green),Black-eyed peas, and meat loaf.
I only got a thin slice of the meat loaf and got a extra helping of cabbage. Is this healthy?
right after I finished I went walking with my pedometer and it said I lost 1121calories by the time I got home.
I am hungry again but all I have is that same food left over. Will the same meal be healthy for me.
My goal is to lose weight for summer and I want to be skinny not tanked and muscled like a football player.I weigh 250 at 5′ 6 height. My clothes size is XXL for shirts and 44 in pants.I want to be a Medium or Large in shirts and at least a 36 in pants. I don’t want my arms tanked and I don’t want abs just want to be skinny.

i used a website to calculate my bmr for a 220lb, 71inch, 22yr old @ 2200 calories a day without any activity included. When i was heavier, my bmr was around 2400 & i added 500 for activity calories, and i ate around 1900 calories and lost a few pounds week. now i use my pedometer to calculate my calories @ about 300 cals for 2miles, add that to 2200=2500, and i ate for 2 weeks about 1700 and stayed at 220. am i eating too few or too many?

I’m trying the excersise, excersice, excersize routine.(I know, I suck at spelling) I have a pedometer, so how many steps equal a pound? Like, I walk this many steps, and one pound of fat is gone!????
