Should I spend more and on organic foods, and exercise to prevent diseases?

I walk/run on the treadmill. It’s at its highest incline (not sure what that is, though), and I walk at about 4.4 mph, and run at 6.5 mph. I only run a few minutes at a time, though, usually only once a mile. I go anywhere from 35 to 60 minutes, depending on what my day allows me to do. I’m a petite woman, and while I get out of breath and sweaty and such ON the treadmill, I’m good to go with no effects 10 minutes after my shower.
I’m a stay-at-home mom of a 6 month old, and while I don’t have a pedometer, I’ve had one before so I can estimate my step count– and I would estimate that, on an average day, I take no more than 2,000 steps besides my treadmill workout.
I recognize the importance of taking a day off, at least once a week, from workouts. I know that this is the day your body repairs itself, etc etc. My question is, since I’m so sedentary throughout much of the day, is it really THAT important that I take a day off between cardio workouts? (I strength-train on a bowflex a few times a week, but always take a day off between.)

I was thinking about buying the game to lose some weight but it seems expensive, especially for a ds game. I need motivation for exercising and this is perfect.
I was wondering if anyone has successfully used it to lose at least a little weight and if you think the game is worth the $50?
Also, I wear skinny jeans a lot. will this effect the number of steps if i have the pedometer in the pocket since the pedometer will basically not be able to “bounce” in my pocket or will it still pick up on the leg movements?
thank you so much for anyone who provides any feedback. :)

What do you do to keep yourself looking and feeling young? From brushing your teeth to exercise to skin cream to drinking lots of water, what is it that you personally do to feel better?

Someplace exotic, sensual and beautiful. awe-inspiring, relaxing, peaceful but exciting. Adventurous but not too uncomfortable because of the health issues. Minor exercise is okay. Privacy is necessary. Small private pool would be good but not a necessity, if there is such a thing.
If you make a suggestion please include the best time of year to go.
Budget might be up to about $6,000 for 2-4 weeks away. We can have one or several destinations but don’t want to wear ourselves out with travel time.
