In general, what kind of diet and exercise will help me improve my health?

Here is what I know.Please, answer and explain if you have a better suggestion;
1.Correct breathing and body gesture, you should count from 1to 6 while breathing in and 1to17 until you breath out.(after a while you will get use to it without counting the numbers).
2.Drinking about 4-8 glass of water per day.
3.Exercise.(Walking,etc).
4.Checking overall health.(Medical tests).
5.Prevention. Avoiding unhealthy drinks, food , and habits.
6.Eating variety of Healthy food.
7.Self Realization / Thinking at present.
8.Sufficient sleeping.

I have for the past few years noticed myself at times not feeling well. I occasionally get light-headed, dizzy, tired, and just generally don’t feel good. For the past month I have been feeling this way and didn’t know what was going on but noticed that I started getting more dizzy and tired, or getting an actual headache, after I ate something sweet.
I have started walking about three miles a day and trying to watch my sugar and it hasn’t really helped. I don’t know what’s going on with me but does this sound like something serious? My mother and grandfather both have diabetes (they do not take insulin shots) and my grandfather is hypoglycemic so I’m worried about myself.
Do you have any suggestions for me to improve the way I feel or can anyone help me find out what is going on with my body?

actually, physical exercise is great for your mental health… when you exercise, your body releases endorphins (also known as the happy chemical) this helps relax both the body and the mind. additionally, certain physical exercises can pose a challenge for you which stimulates you mentally. and of course, exercise helps relieve stress because it can be very relaxing to just let your body run mechanically, like when you’re running long distances. it’s good to exercise because it can help you release thoughts that have been plaguing your mind when sitting at a desk all day
