Ok, I know all about calories in calories out and that that is the only true way to lose weight. This is the issue: I started at 290 pounds (BMI 47) and managed to lose 25 pounds and am stuck. I really need to lose another 20 pounds as fast as possible for health reasons. Exercise is still really difficult for me, but am trying to move more throughout the day. If I got really committed, how few calories could I safely consume and not go into “starvation mode” or hurt myself in any way, given it was for a short amount of time (2 months or less).
Thanks

i was told that you divide the distance by the time. I walked 2.18 miles in 48 minutes. I came up with .0452083. Any other suggestions on how to figure this out? How do you figure your stride out, my pedometer said to walk 10 steps -measure the distance that you’ve walked from heel to heel or toe to toe.. Then divide by the distance covered to your stride. Im 5′3′ and i cam up with 197 inches = 20″ stride. On a website i was using for doing routes, it came up with 26 inches. Why is there such a difference? Are those websites accurate for figuring out the distances on routes?

Alright, so. I’m 16 & about 150 pounds. I’d like to drop atleast 20,
I mean. I think i’ll always keep my shape so I don’t want to be too skinny. I’d really just like to tone up my body & shed all the extra weight I have. I exercise daily. I stretch, do crunches, lift weights, push up, jumping jacks for about 30 minutes a day & I usually take about 5,000 steps because I know that it’s recommended to take 10,000 steps a day..I have a pedometer that counts it & I do try to take that many & sometimes it’s around 7,000 day but I’m working up to 10,000.
I’ve pretty much stopped drinking soda & stick to just water..I do eat breakfast, lunch & dinner..but i’ve cut back on the junk food & don’t eat past 6:30. I was 158 but I’m not sure when the 8 pounds came off because i’ve only started this about a week ago..I don’t expect the weight to just fall off because I know it’ll gradually come off..but if I keep this up, how long will it take to get down to my ideal weight? Or atleast till I’m more in shape, more healthy & just feel better..because I know after taking a run I always feel..well sweaty, but amazing because I know it’s good for me & I enjoy running..I’ve just never pushed myself to run daily like I do now, for atleast 45 minutes..somet days longer..& somedays I don’t feel like running, so I pretty much walk for 2 hours..

Not necisarily 15 pounds in 2 weeks, that’s just an example. But I have a goal to reach atleast 50 pounds in about 7 and a half months….I excerisize my *** off 6 days of 7 a week. I used to NEVER drink anything but soda practically…now I NEVER drink soda. It’s been alot easier than expected, lol. I was a night eater, I would stay up all night eating crap. Now I don’t eat anything at night…and have started going to bed at a decent hour. [11:00...I was going at like 7 in the morning].
I am 5′9 and 195 lbs.. not good. I want to weigh somewhere between 140-49/50ish by 7 months. If I could chose I want to weight 140. I started this a week ago….but it was an experimental week, now I pretty much know what to do…but I still need some help. All I really do i some light weight lifting for my arms, and some machines for my arms…and treadmill, and boy do I get a workout, or atleast feel like I do. I also run, I have a pedometer. If I eat about 800 cals a day..& drink lots of water.

I just want to lose as much as I can but in a some what health way ya know? I dont want to puke myself or anything. are their home remedies or something thats worked for you guys?
