1. should I check with a doctor First before starting any type of exercise ( even if it&#8217;s exercise around the house &#8230;. like : walking, biking, using weights, video exercise tapes ) ??<br />
2.  What type of exercises should I be doing ?? I don&#8217;t have the access to a gym, I would have to do these at home.<br />
3. What am I looking for as with losing pounds ( how many pounds should I be losing a week )<br />
4. do you think it is possible for a large woman to get fit and in time will actually look like she&#8217;s lost a lot of weight ???<br />
Right now, I do only a little of exercising ( besides walking ) due to I get tired REAL fast.  My arms and legs begin to tingle, I get headaches easier, heart rate is above normal.<br />
I did not Realize Just how Big I was until i looked in a mirror. Do you think the mirror adds pounds to your look ?</p>

If you eat before, you&#8217;ll have calories in your blood sugar ready to work. You work off your meal basically. You also risk cramps if you workout too soon. Cramps can kill a workout.<br />
If you eat after, you&#8217;ll use more stored calories (body fat), and the proteins you eat after have much better chance of being absorbed by your sore muscles. The downside being that you need to push yourself harder because you don&#8217;t have that &#8220;ready energy&#8221; already in your blood stream.<br />
Personally &#8211; I eat a little before. You need SOME energy at the ready. You cant do it all with body fat. I like a low-fat yogurt and a banana. That&#8217;s plenty carbs and protein for me pre-workout, and it doesn&#8217;t cause cramping.  After, I drink whey protein drinks as they metabolize the nutrients almost immediately where food takes a few hours.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am actually under weight and am in the process of tring to gain 15 pounds or so. Thats why this is going to be so hard for me. I need to come up with a routine that will get me in shape and build muscle without losing any weight. Really I cant afford to lose any weight but I cant afford not to get in shape either. Most people associate exercise with losing weight and being in shape with being thin but thats not the case at all. I am probably the thinnest most out of shape person ever and you would never know it by just looking at me, seeing as how, I dont really have an once of fat on me and appear to be toned in all the right places, however if I tried running up the street I’d probably collapse after a few yards. I am a complete couch potato I have not exercised in years and am afraid it’s taking a toll on my health. I am lazy and tierd all the time, I know I would feel a lot better if I started exercising. I am actually very concerned about health issues, but have just been to scared to exercise for so many years for fear of losing weight. The most exercise I get is lifting the remote. I know it sounds bad but it’s kind of true. Anyways, if anyone out there knows anything about how I could start a regimen that will get me in shape and feeling good without losing ANY weight please help. Thanx.</p>
