I’m a healthy 31 year old male who takes a relatively hot shower first thing in the morning (about 15 min) and a hot whirlpool bath in the evening (again about 15 min). I am trying to get into routine of regular exercise, but am wondering if there are any positive cardio benefits to hot baths/showers. I know that my heart rate increases during either a bath or shower. Would this have a similar cardiovascular benefit to raising your heart rate via exercise?

I know exercise is good no matter who you are and what your health situation is. But I’m wondering what it specifically does to your HbA1c if you are diabetic? Does it help lower this and how? How big of a roll does exercise come into play when someone who has diabetes is trying to maintain control of their sugar levels?

Okay, i know i shouldn’t have done this but for the last 2 months i have been starving myself or “fasting” every couple days. It wasn’t in a row, but every few days. It was a mistake and i know now that it isn’t healthy, but if it was only for about 2-2 1/2 months, will it do anything major to my health? I am going to turn everything around and only eat healthy and exercise from now on but i don’t want to have any problems with my body. Will it do anything major if i turn everything around now?

I lift weights every other day. I’ve been told before that when you drink, you can not exercise several hours afterwards. It may be a health risk. Is this true? I’d like to know, finally. Thank you.

Sets your heart pumping blood faster around your body, which increases the oxygen flow. Might help to stop the build-up of plague in the arteries. Exercise is always good for you, but personally I don`t believe `prolonged, intense` exercise is either necessary or healthy.
If nature had intended us to do this, she would have made us into human dynamos.
