Well I’ve been exercising a lot, and everything says make sure you burning X amount of calories. But how do you really know? I mean I know there are websites you can type in your activity, but that’s more of an estimate.
My boyfriend said to get a Pedometer, but that seems to only measure distance/steps for walkers. I walk/run & bike ride + I’ll be adding in some weight training.
Someone else at school said to get a watch that monitors your heart rate and you can calculate calories burned from that…but I wouldn’t know how?
OK…now I’m over confused. Which is better? Does anyone have any they’ve used and liked?
I thought about this one, but will it help when I ride my bike, or only when I’m walking/running?http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d…
I’m sort of on a budget, I don’t want to spend more than $50, and cheaper would be better. Since half the time stuff that’s more expensive just has more gadgets but not anything I really need.
I am 16 yrs old a male and my pedometer reads at about 15,000 steps or more on most days
I weigh about 145-148 lbs
and im like 5 foot 7
does anyone know what my sleep needs are also how many hours im pretty active i guess
I’ve just seen an advert on TV for the new Nintendo DS ‘active health’ software. If you haven’t heard of it, basically it has a built in pedometer to monitor your activity and record calories burned, and also allows you to input diet programs and assess daily calorie intake, etc.
It looks great! But I don’t have a DS, and was wondering if there are any similar calorie counting gadgets on the market? Which you’re able to carry around with you and input food intake and exercise achieved to give daily calorie totals, and so on, to generally aid dieting.
I have a pedometer but it doesnt tell me the calories i burned
i need something online that puts in my stride length and my steps walked. But please dont suggest buying a new pedometer. IM BROKE!! lol
