Heart Strength & Health Being The Primary Factor, Which Is Better Way To Exercise: Longer Or Harder?
I am a healthy 21 y.o male.
I exercise hard, meaning I lift weights and do HIT (High intensity Training). This is mainly because I want to lose weight.
Now that I have lost enough weight, I want to take up a long term exercise plan. Now, which is a better strategy: to exercise longer but moderate effort OR shorter interval but High intensity (to the point of exhaustion)? Are there any definitive scientific views regarding this issue?
Basically, what is the best way to strengthen heart muscle?

Unequivocally, walking 8 hours, as long as it is spread out and not to the point of exhaustion.
I do 30 pushups and 40 situps a day. Right now i do them right when i get out of bed in the morning, before even washing my face. I know it probably doesn’t really matter very much, but from a health/fitness standpoint, are morning or night exercises more effective?
I wouldn’t mind getting a magazine subscription for men’s magazine and health and exercise.
Which one is better Men’s Fitness OR Men’s Magazine?
