I am interested in purchasing a pedometer. Can they be shared or would my wife need her own pedometer?
I am interested in this pedometer:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MN9…

They can be shared unless they are the sort that keep a running total of things over a long period of time, such as miles walked or calories burned.
Then you’d either need one with multiple profiles (so you could have yours open when you walk, and your wife could have hers when she walks), or two.
But if you just want to use one to see how far you’ve both walked, one is fine.
The one you are looking at (apart from being an incredibly intricate pedometer…) doesn’t seem to have multiple profiles, so you’d need to upload the information to your computer and reset it every time you and your wife wanted to switch off using it, to keep the data for you and her straight. Again, unless you’re just using it to record distance.
But if you only want to record distance, a $5 one from Wal-Mart will do that…
Yes, but if they keep a running total until you reset it- that wouldn’t be accurate since both you and your wife would be walking or running using it. For an amount of each individual walk/run, yes you could take turns and share one.
Pedometers are not very accurate. Yes the can be shared but you will have to reprogram them every time you switch.
Dude they are like 3 bucks at walmart, get two!
