I’m a healthy 31 year old male who takes a relatively hot shower first thing in the morning (about 15 min) and a hot whirlpool bath in the evening (again about 15 min). I am trying to get into routine of regular exercise, but am wondering if there are any positive cardio benefits to hot baths/showers. I know that my heart rate increases during either a bath or shower. Would this have a similar cardiovascular benefit to raising your heart rate via exercise?

  • No the ex cerise has different impact on the body all together a bath just cleanses ur outer body and very hot showers r not advisable they deplete the body of natural oils

The hot water simply dilates your blood vessels. If you had cardiac problems, this could lead to weakness and loss of consciousness. That is why they put up warnings at public jaccuzzis.
