There is a running trial next to my school called the “puke trial”. I know the 2 mile mark so I’ve been able to run 2 miles to and from that location for a 4mile run. I want to run 6 miles today but I don’t know how to measure 6 miles unless I get a ruler and tediously match the key up to the winding, curving trial. I do have a pedometer but it doesn’t work, I know this because after I ran 4 miles it said I only ran .85 miles (this thing is so cheap!). Is there any kind of map that lets you place many points on it and then it measures the distance between each point and tells you how far it is?

One Response to “How To Measure The Distance Of A Trial?”

  • THE HUMAN says:

You could go to http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ and find your trail and mark it etc. (you’ll see)
Or, offline you could use a piece of string, mark it off at 6 mi. (with the legend) and then lay the string on the trail… ta-da, your 6 miles!
