ive eaten:
muesli with a banana for breakfast, snack an apple, then lunch was cous cous and vegetables then an hour after i had some date and walnut cake then a bowl of speical K
what should i eat for dinner ect to balence this out and how much exercise should i do to maybe burn the cake off??
i think my breakfast was about 300 calories, lunch 500 plus the apple 50, the cake 400 and the cereal 200. 1450!! :O how can i burn this off walking? how much exercise should i do and how much do u think i should burn off??

You need some protein with your supper (and in the future with other meals as well). Either lean meat if you are a meat-eater, or whatever you eat for protein as a vegetarian.
Your regular daily diet (all the time, not just to lose weight) should consist of:
Lean protein
Fruits and veggies
Whole grain/brown carbs
Healthy fats
LOTS of water
Keep your calories over 1200 a day to keep your metabolism from slowing down. When I’m working to lose weight, I try to keep mine around 1300 – 1500.
For exercise, shoot for at least 1 hr a day, at least 5 days a week. If you can work in more than that, great. Do cardio exercise for fat burning (walking briskly, jogging, swimming, bicycling, dancing, aerobics, etc) and strength training to tone and firm your muscles (no jiggle!) and to help increase your metabolism so you burn more calories even at rest (bonus!)
Try to avoid “cakes” and other goodies most of the time. An occasional treat is okay, but you can see how quickly they can add several hundred calories to your daily intake and undo any exercise you might have done for that day.
Get yourself a heart rate monitor (one with the strap that goes around your chest is easiest to use) and wear it when you workout. It will not only track your heart rate so you can see when you’re in the fat burning “zone” but also monitor the amount of time you workout and the calories you’ve burned. I use mine a LOT as I try to workout 2x a day.
Don’t try to lose more than 3 lbs/wk or you risk regaining it due to unhealthy methods being used if you lose weight too fast.

you don’t seem to have had any protein – so maybe some meat or fish (presuming you’re not vegetarian).
You would need to do a lot of exercise to burn off 400cals!!
It’s best if you get into a routine, say 3-4 times a week for 30mins, just doing a small amount of exercise and working upwards. If you’re trying to lose weight, in my opinion, the best exercise to do is something like aerobics which will get your heart rate up.
Ok eat like a piece of fish with veggies or a cereal bar for dinner. That would make your total like 1700 for the day. Then do about an hour of cardio such as speed walking, jogging, or biking. That would bring your total for the day down to like 1200 so you will still be on track to lose weight. Good luck and keep up the good work!

First of all, don’t feel bad about what you’ve eaten, and don’;t beat yourself up about it. We all fall off our good plan once in a while. You are actually suppose to eat 6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism and your body burning fat. Just like a machine, you can’t run a car without gas. Keep up exercise and make more of protein choices, like Chicken breast, turkey, ham, etc.. The protein will keep you energized and keep your body happy. Watch your carb intake, your body doesn’t know the difference between a piece of toast from a candy bar, they both break down to sugars and you will feel tired. it seems like you eat a **** load of food. What is muesli?
that would be alot of walking … your better off getting on an eliptical or treadmill.
