I recently downloaded the “My Health Coach: Manage Your Weight” DS rom onto my R4. It says I need to record my daily steps using a pedometer – which is only available if you buy the actual hardcopy game.
I can’t move on to the next stage unless I have a pedometer to record my steps.
Is there any way to play the game or record my steps without using a pedometer?
(And please don’t tell me to just buy the game – they don’t sell it yet where I’m from)

I have the same issue. Have downloaded it onto my TT card to get a taster and can’t get passed the introduction stage without plugging the pedometer in.
I guess it’s the software company’s crafty way of getting you to buy the real game.
Where are you from? I am in the UK and it’s been out here for the last week.
*Update*, got this from another site.
You can, when it asks for the pedometer to be plugged in, restart the game and just say you will do it later.
Now you can access all the other parts!
You can go into the pedometer section and enter the steps manually.
I found that once you get to this stage, close down your game and restart it. The DS will then let you pass this stage for saving later. Every time i need to get past a stage, I do this and I have had no trouble with it this way
The only way to get a hold of one if someone sells it. Since it just came out, you have to wait patently for someone or private seller to sell them out. You can try ebay.
