I can’t use the Nike + iPod because I don’t have the appropriate shoes for that to work. And I don’t need to buy new sneakers. Thinking of just downloading a pedometer app OR buying a separate one if none of the iPod apps are accurate (hopefully they are, keeping my fingers crossed haha).
So anyway, what do you use? How accurate is it? Has anybody used this particular one: http://appbeacon.com/apps/002447/pedomet… How is it?
Thank you very much!

You can buy the Nike +iPod and you don’t need Nike shoes. You can just buy a sensor holder and strap it to your shoelace. Here is a cheap one that I use. http://www.amazon.com/Marware-Sportsuit-…
Or you can do it cheaply this way. http://www.instructables.com/id/Put-an-i…
As long as the sensor is on your shoe and you calibrate it with your steps it will be accurate. The sensor works with the new iphone and 2nd gen touch. Nike+ pedometer is very nice. You can send your info online and it tracks your progress with goals or you can compare it to other people in the world. I am unsure about the app. you mentioned. It does track steps but thats all. The Nike+ tracks your mileage and other fancy info. Also even though the Nike+ is supposedly a one time use device you can easily buy a battery and replace yourself. Here is some info on that. http://www.instructables.com/id/Replace-…
